Youth Firearms Safety Field Day

  • Saturday April 25, 2020
  • Class will begin at 9 am and may run until 4 pm
  • Held at Cedar Mills Gun Club

Additional Information:

  • This class is for the Field Day only. The student MUST HAVE COMPLETED the online course first and bring their voucher on the day of this class.
  • The student must be at least 11 years old to take the class
  • You will receive a pre-registration confirmation email 
  • You will receive a reminder email and a “what to bring” checklist 2-3 weeks before the class.
    • There is no cost for the Field Day. However, there are set fees for both the HUNTER COURSE and the MN DNR validation.

Firearms Training

Cedar Mills Gun Club Offers The MN DNR Youth Field Day Course Spring and Fall.

To take the class the student must have completed the HUNTER COURSE and bring their voucher of completion to the field day.

  • This course takes approximately 8 hours, but your student may start and stop as needed
  • The Voucher is good for one year from the date of completion
  • Your student should have access to the course for one year

  • There are different requirements for students over 18, however, they are encouraged to take the field day at an approved location with certified instructors.

MN Concealed Carry Class

Cedar Mills Gun Club also has several private instructors that offer the MN Concealed Carry Class.
